Bulk CD’s and DVD’s
I was just cruising through Ebay’s Hot Item report which lists out the hot categories for the prior month. I noticed that wholesale CD’s is listed as a Very Hot category which means lots of people are looking and a lot are buying.
I went looking around myself and noticed a few potential bargains. One seller offered 100 CD’s for $49.95 with free shipping. He had a feedback of over 6400 and a 99.3% rating so he must be doing something right! You can check out some of these bargains for yourself in my store HERE.
No commentsHow is YOUR followup?
One of the most difficult things small businesses have trouble getting down is follow-up. Sure, you have a great new customer, when will you send them a card or a letter thanking them for their business? If you are like most small businesses, perhaps never.

No commentsAre you tired of being gouged for inkjet ink by the printer manufacturers?
Have you noticed that it costs about the same to replace the cartridges in your inkjet printer as it does to buy a whole new printer? For example, I bought my Epson CX3810 printer from Fry’s on sale for about $60. Just looking at the Fry’s flyer in the paper this weekend the black, on sale, was going to cost me $20 to replace it. The color cartridges, and there are 3 of them, cost $20, for a grand total of $84 to replace the ink in my $60 printer. Read more

No commentsSpring is Here! Time to get out in the Garden
Here in Texas, today was like the first day of Spring. Lots of sunlight, mild temperatures and a really ugly looking lawn with an overgrown vegetable garden.
First you need to find a great deal on tools and gardening implements. You may be looking for gloves, kneepads, loppers, moisture or PH meters, sprayers, shovels or hoes, aprons or belts, watering cans, hoses, and carts. Read more
No commentsHow I cut my phone bill in half and eliminated all my long distance charges including England with Vonage.
For several weeks my wife suggested we check in to Vonage. In fact, every time there was a commercial on the TV, she suggested it again. She felt like it might save us a lot of money on our monthly phone bill, which was over $80 for two lines, plus long distance of another $20 to $40.
Like any good husband, I nodded my head and agreed, but didn’t do anything. Since Vonage is a voice-over-IP (VoIP), I wasn’t sure that the technology was up to the challenge. VoIP phone service means that your phone is connected through your broadband Internet connection to Vonage, which translates the conversation back to regular phone lines. Would they be able to provide a clear stable connection? Finally, she sat me down at the computer and said “At least look at it.”

No commentsNeed Headphones?
As a teacher, I am constantly looking for things I can use in the classroom. One thing that we frequently need is more headphones. With more and more of our curriculum heading to the web, it makes sense to have a lot of headphones.
You don’t want to pay a lot, because it gets expensive and besides kids being kids the headphones can break or disappear. While scanning eBay this morning I came across this great deal on HEADPHONES , $39.99 for 48 sets of neckband headphones plus shipping (around $17 to Texas).
Imagine the possibilities. Use them at school, create a fundraiser, sell them at fleamarkets or sell them as corporate gifts. At .83 cents a piece it would be hard not to make money with these. These come and go, so take a gander while they are still there.
The seller also has sets with a built in microphones. I plan to get these for my summer class in podcasting, but they are also great for online gaming, SKype, and other audio IMs.
